The Eat-Clean Diet
Published 10/10/2007 | Low Calorie | Rating:

Drop out of the clean plate club, and join the eat-clean crew. Tosca Reno is the brains behind the Eat-Clean Diet, a deprivation-free diet that increases energy, improves skin and hair health and contributes to weight loss. Her promise, like many diets on the market, is fast fast loss that lasts forever, which is coincidentally the subtitle of her Eat-Clean Diet book.

Among Tosca's reccomendations are to eat six meals a day, drink plenty of water, avoid sugar and high-fat foods and eat the foods God Gave us versus the foods that are man-made (i.e. processed foods).

It's important to first realize what clean foods are -- fresh, whole and unprocessed foods. By eliminating foods that have high fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated oils and additives, dieters improve their nutrition and their health.

The low-calorie plan features recipes such as brown rice breakfast burritos, veggie soup with pesto, turkey meatloaf, Havana salad and much more.

Prepare to forget everything you know about the basic food groups -- with Tosca's plan the three food groups with protein, carbohydrates and fats. She reccomends consuming five to seven meals.
