I give the review a 2 because you give all the statistics, but not how you can obtain the exercises. The info does you no good if you don't know where to get the exercises. Are they on DVD or paper? Can you get them anywhere?

It know it works because I did it and lost 20 pounds. If you eat protoin, carbs, vegtables and fruit three times a day you will lose. Just makes the portion sizes normal size.

Let's get real people. Working out 8 minutes a day, excercising each muscle group 1x a week is supposed to get to you fit. The reality of it is calories in vs calories out, and developing an excercise routine that will actually build muscle burning fat. Also, cardio will help with fat burning as well. Jeri Love has a Ripped DVD sequence that is awesome. As a 5'3" 105lb female who has never been overweight take my advice. You need to do the work to get the results and 8 minutes won't cut it unless you just woke up from a coma and all you muscles have atrophied. Best wishes.

Surprise!Surprise! Another person pulling us in with good talk just to sell a book.You have to go to his web site and guess what PURCHASE HIS BOOK TO GET THE INFO! Again Surprise! surprise! we all want a quick fix there isnt one but it's wrong to suck people in this with pretty words just to sell a book . good job!

Come on u guys this is just another ploy to get us to buy his book. yes it sounds real good .me myself would love a quick fix. but guess what there isnt any. we have to work hard to get the weight off! if took time to put it on it's going to take time to get it off! We need to wake up and relize he's doing what they always do sell us a dream and hope we will buy his book.

Are there any suggestions / explanations as to what exercises to do for the specific days. For example : monday work chest & back, what excercise is good for that Please explain, I'm not familiar with any exercises names except jumping jacks!

this is ridiculous! First of all when you look at who the pictures are - they are of girls under the age of 25! Well who wouldn't be toned and lose weight easily? That is not due to your diet routine!!!
I am 54 and have always been beautifully built and now cannot move 5 pounds off my butt for anything.
Quit taking the asey way out with these diet tips for young metabolism and show us something that works for real people...

Just like everyone else here...yet another ploy to sell a book or a program or something else. It would be nice if it were true, but at 57 and exercising for 30 minutes each day (aerobics, yoga, strength training, etc, walking 5 miles per day or biking 10 miles per day hasn't done it, I'm really doubting 8 minutes is going to acheive a weight loss of 2 pounds per week. Perhaps if you are obese, that might work, but I'm doubting that too. Just watch The Biggest Loser and that should put it all into perspective for you. They have trainers with them every day, doing insane things on a regular basis and sometimes they may only achieve a 2 lb weight loss!! Nice try, but I'm thinking NOT!!!

People you have to go out and buy the exercise plan. They are not going to give it away! So I did that. Its a matter of sticking to it and making time, Its a 4 minute plan you do twice for a total of 8 minutes, plus you have to make sure you have the right equipment for a 3 phase program.

This review sure leaves us hanging. Where's the rest of the info? How do we order? Print-out of exercises would be good...better yet would be a folder containing hard-copy of diet plan, exercises and a DVD -- for less than 10. (Cheap if and easy would be good, so people can stick to it!)

i stongly recommend people to buy the 8 minutes in the morning book. I too am very skeptical about diets but since i got this book free with a magazine and thought id give it a go i have lost my desired weight of 1 and a half stone in just 8 weeks. i have never been hungary and the exercises are fairly easy and sometimes you think this cant work, but believe me it does! thanks jorge!!!

The Workout
Exercise 1 - Chest and Shoulders
Lie on your back and grasp your weights with the palms of your hands facing up, and your arms outstretched to the sides. With your elbows slightly bent, lift your arms above your chest until your hands are almost touching. Return to starting position and repeat.
Exercise 2 - Chest and Shoulders
Lie on your back and grasp your weights with the palms of your hands facing up, and your arms outstretched above your head. Grip your weights and bring them over your head and down to your hips, by your sides - a semi-circular motion. Lift back to starting position and repeat.
Exercise 3 - Chest and Back
Sitting with your back straight (preferably supported) and legs straight out in front of you, hold your weights in at your chest with your elbows out to the side (parallel to the floor). Push your arms out straight in front of you then pull them back in. Repeat.
Exercise 4 - Back and Shoulders
Stand with feet shoulder width apart and arms by your sides, gripping the weights with palms facing outwards. Making sure your movements are slow and concentrated, tense your shoulder and upper back muscles, then slowly "shrug" them up and down.
Exercise 5 - Shoulders and Upper Arms
Stand with feet shoulder width apart and arms raised straight up above your head, grip your weights with your palms facing behind you. Slowly bring your arms forward and down, without bending at the elbow, until level with your shoulders. Lift back to starting position and repeat.
Exercise 6 - Upper Arms, Shoulders and Back
Standing with feet slightly apart, grasp your weights and bend at the waist until your torso is parallel to the floor. Extend your arms towards the floor with palms facing outwards. Lift your arms out to the side, keeping them straight, until parallel to the floor. Return to the starting position and repeat.
Exercise 7 - Upper Arms, Shoulders and Back
Standing with feet slightly apart, position your arms straight down in front of you almost against your body - with your weights almost touching. Bend your elbows and lift your weights towards your chin, bringing your elbows out to the side, in line with your shoulders. Return to the starting position and repeat.
Exercise 8 - Arms and Chest
The classic push up. With your hands shoulder width apart place your palms on the floor. Stretch out your body with either your knees on the floor, or if you're feeling ambitious, your toes - so you are supporting your body weight. Keeping your back straight and using your arms lower yourself gently toward the floor until you are hovering just over it. Push yourself slowly back to your starting position and repeat. Remember - don't lower yourself to the point where you come into contact with the floor, it'll be much harder to push back up.
Exercise 9 - Arms
In a sitting position with your back straight, relax your arms in line with your body. Grip your weights with your palms facing upwards and curl them up towards your shoulders, then back down again. Repeat. Keep your torso still and back straight, let your arms do the work.
Exercise 10 - Forearms
Holding your weight with your arm outstretched in front of you, tilt your wrist up and down repeatedly. Try doing this with both an overhand and underhand grip on your weight. Do one arm at a time.
Results
The secret of successful body toning is regularity. If you do this exercise sequence every other day you'll start to see results in a few weeks.
