Dexatrim
Published 03/4/2006 | Other | Rating:

Dexatrim, one of the most popular names in appetite suppressants, has been around for more than 25 years… and that's not necessarily a good thing. According to their website, this drug free, natural diet supplement is multifunctional, suppressing your appetite and increasing your base metabolic rate to help the body burn fat and calories faster.

At one point, there was ephedrine in the product, but the controversial ingredient was removed a few years ago. People who wish to purchase Dexatrim have five choices to select from: Dexatrim Results, Dexatrim Results Ephedrine Free, Dexatrim Natural No Caffeine, Dexatrim Natural Ephedrine Free and Dextatrim Natural Green Tea. All Dexatrim dietary supplements contain herbal extracts and minerals from around the world. Consumers are instructed to take one dose three times a day.

Depending on which product is being used, the caplets should be taken before or with a meal. Take too much and it can be harmful to your health, according to disclaimers.

Dexatrim does point out that their diet aid works best when used in accord with a sensible meal plan and regular exercise. Once you've implemented all three factors in your lifestyle, they say you'll see results in one to two weeks. However, you could probably achieve the same results with diet and exercise alone.

One important fact to note is that when Consumer Health Digest ranked the best diet supplements of 2005, Dextraim ranked 30… out of 30. For metabolism enhancement, it earned 2 out of 5. For weight loss potential, Dexatrim received 2 out of 5. For appetite suppression, it received 1 out of 5. For ingredient quality, Dexatrim finished with 2 out of 5.

I have taken Dexatrims and I found out that the caffein in the pills are to much to cosume to lose weight , since caffein can cause weight gain because of the retaining of fluid.

I found the review on Dexetrim helpful, but do wish a review of something that would be of some help included. I used Phen Fen years ago & it really worked. Too bad it had some health issues.

Back in my misguided teen years, I used Dexatrim and it was a superb appetite suppressant. Tried it recently it was absolutely useless! AVOID!
